Health Educator
Duties and responsibilities: Collaborate with health
specialist and civic groups to determine community health needs and the
availability of services, and to develop goals for meeting needs. Design and
conduct evaluations and diagnostic studies to assess the quality and
performance of health education programs.
Salary: $41,830
Education: Although a
bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement, it is common for health educators
to hold master’s degree. Some programs are offered in the Master of Public
health.
