What this quote means is that when you lie it's means that you'll tell more lies further on. when you lie about something it's mostly because you don't want want them to know on what you did. If you lie lots of times then it'll mostly become a habit. Sometimes when you come up with a lie people will keep asking questions about and you'll have to come up with more lies. The person that you told the lie to might even figure out the truth about what you were doing or did. If you tell the truth then people will believe in you and you would be trustworthy. When you lie it can hurt others. When you tell them that lie it almost like if you wasted their time.
