What I think what this quote means is that you always have to choose the right at all times. Choosing the right will help you through the whole in your life. Always doing the right thing will make you a great person.  Doing the right thing is to help someone in need or do your work in school and turn it in on time. For example, if you want to go to a party but you have homework to finish the right thing will be to finish it. Another example is if you see an old lady trying to cross the street, if you're a CTR person you will help her cross. Doing whats right is the best thing that you can do in your life. Always doing the right will help you through your whole lifetime.

 "If your friends urge you to do anything you know to be wrong, you be the one to make a stand for right, even if you stand alone. Have the moral courage to be a light for others to follow."

What this quote means is that if you know what your friends want you to do is wrong. Than stand for the right thing thing to do neither way you're alone standing for whats right. your so-called friends are going to be in bad situations but you did the right and said no. If you keep choosing the right you're going to go to make better friends that do the right thing. When you choose the right your standing up for the right. Choosing the right is a good thing because you're going to have a great career. if you didn't choose the right and did the wrong action you'll be in serious consequences. Those consequences will probably affect you for the rest of you're life.Those "friends" who told you to do that were not good people.
