There’s a program called the buddy program to provide
friendship, support, and hope to children who have cancer. Students get to know
and connect with the children by visiting them at the hospital on a continual
basis. The students engage in children activities, organize parties, and
provide opportunities for the children
to have fun. All students-volunteers are trained to identify and understand the
unique needs of hospitalized children.
