Athletic Trainer

Athletic Trainer
Duties and responsibilities:
Conduct an initial assessment of an athlete's injury or illness in order to provide emergency or continued care, and to determine whether they should be referred to physicians for definitive diagnosis and treatment.
Salary: $30,660-$54,630
Education:
·         To become an athletic trainer, candidates must graduate with a degree in Athletic Training from an accredited athletic training program and successfully pass the Board of certification exam. To practice as an athletic trainer in most states, the individual must also be credentialed within the state.  Degrees in physical therapy, exercise science, strength and conditioning or others DO NOT qualify the candidate to sit for the BOC examination.

I think I would like to be athletic trainer to cure the players injury and get him back in the field.
